Fit Kids is a functional strength and conditioning class designed exclusively for boys and girls aged 5 to 12 years.

What is Fit Kids?
A form of exercise that focuses on building the power, strength and endurance of the body’s muscles. It involves a broad variety of exercises developed to improve the entire physical performance of an individual’s body. These components of fitness Include: Strength, Power, Endurance (Muscular & Cardiovascular), Speed, Agility, Mobility, Flexibility, Co-Ordination, Balance & Core Stability. There is a large variety of equipment used including: Barbells, Dumbbells, Kettle Bells, Medicine Balls, Power & Stretch Bands, Bodyweight exercises along with Rowers, Bikes, Treadmills etc.

How do the classes work?
All of the classes commence with a 10-15min dynamic warm up that focusing on stretching, mobility and movement preparation. After the warm up we get stuck into our 20min strength training component were we focus on Lifting, Squat, Pulling & Pressing movement to make your entire body stronger. Once the Strength training has been completed we then move into the conditioning phase, the duration is constantly varied 8-16min but it is always completed at high intensity to maximize calorie consumption & increase your overall cardiovascular fitness.
The post workout benefits will have your body consuming 10-25% more calories for up to 48hrs, which is great for those people looking for fat loss.

Who runs the classes?
Each class is conducted by a friendly, fun and qualified fitness coach who is passionate about teaching children how to enjoy exercise in a fun, safe, interactive group fitness environment!

How many Kids are in the class?
The average each class has 6-10 kids, so your children are sure to get plenty of help and attention from the coach.

Who comes to the classes?
We have girls and boys of all different ages, fitness levels and exercise skills, coming from suburbs all over the northern beaches.

When are the classes run?
During the School Term:
Monday to Thursday: 3.30pm to 4.15pm
Please note: we are seeking interest from parents to commence a Friday afternoon class, please contact us to register your interest.

During the School Holidays: (Excluding the Summer School Holidays)
Tuesday & Thursday's: 3.30pm to 4.15pm

How much does it cost?
- Casual Visit - $17.50 per child per session.
- 10 Visit Pass - $150.00 per child.
- Membership (Unlimited Access) - $24.95 per child per week.

Are you an approved Active Kids Provider? 
We are currently working with the NSW Office of Sport to have our Fit Kids program registered and approved, we will update our website when the approval has been granted.

How do I get my child started?
